For this project in South East London, our client wanted to create a cohesive and elegant look across their downstairs living spaces, including the kitchen. We recommended LVT parquet flooring in a warm oak finish, laid in a classic herringbone pattern. This style not only enhances the visual appeal but also adds a timeless charm to the modern interiors. The client’s primary concern was durability, especially with young children and pets, so LVT was the ideal choice—offering water resistance, easy maintenance, and resilience against scratches and daily wear. The installation required careful attention to detail, as we seamlessly integrated the flooring across different rooms while maintaining the flow of the herringbone pattern. Transition points, doorways, and edges were finished with precision to create a high-end look. The rich tones of the parquet beautifully complement the white cabinetry and neutral decor throughout the space. The client was delighted with how the flooring instantly transformed their home, making it feel warmer, more spacious, and cohesive. They particularly appreciated how the LVT not only looks like real wood but also stands up to the demands of a busy household. The end result is a beautiful, practical, and long-lasting floor that adds significant value to their home.
